Arizona

• 5/22- The mayor of the City of Eloy, which recently approved a 936-acre solar farm after months of negotiations, spoke on the approval process, saying buffers were a major factor in the approval.

• 5/21- Signal Energy is entering construction on a 160-MW project in Cochise County.

New Mexico

• 5/22- TNXM, a holding company for utilities including New Mexico’s PNM, announced a sale agreement with Blackstone. Blackstone currently has plans for data centers in PNM territory, and approval of these plans may decide whether stakeholders challenge the acquisition.

Texas
